Arabian Nights

a night of four legged animals, family and friends.
once a year my parents host a first class event to showcase their beautiful Arabian horses. it's the kind of thing that i am so thankful that they do because it helps create awareness about Arabian horses. it also allows those who are maybe interested in making a purchase see the horses in a show type atmosphere.
it was a great night.
decorated to perfection, even the water bottles had the rae-dawn logo on them!
the m.c.'s for the evening were Jessica Robinson , an amazing local country singer and Tex Kam , one of Canada's best Arabian horse photographers. they did a great job.
jessica sang to us from her new album. be sure to check out her webpage !!

well mom, dad and the amazing staff you have working out there......
thank you once again for a grand evening.
thank you for all that you do and all that hard work.

It's great to see you doing what you love.

here are a few more that we liked. hope you enjoy.
these will be on the webpage soon.

What if.....

what if the sun was golden...
what if the weather was like a soft blanket on your skin..

what if a great looking girl was up for anything..
what if a young gentleman was too.

what if cowboy hats and guitars came together..

what if a dog named che' was just chill'in..

what if a old rustic couch could tell us stories...

what if everything was perfect?...

it was.....!!!!

Work hard + Play hard = A Good Balance

i firmly believe in life there should be a balance and i am strictly talking about balance between work and play today. my belief is the following.

work hard and play hard.

the last little while there has been alot on the go for Dream Photography. the ball is rolling and things are happening.
different projects and tasks to finish as well a new and up coming opportunities.
it almost feels like in a time like such you could just bury yourself in the office and work, work and work. but it wouldn't be long until you reach a burn out stage.
so in the busy times, i have also found some time to have fun and spend it with the people i love most.

i always find that if there is that balance, three things happen:
1. my level of happiness increases.
2. i am more focused to do the work when i am in the office
3. i am more thankful for the good times with others cause i know that i deserve that time after working hard.

it's a great balance and it work for me.
what works for you? i am interested to hear it....

here are a few pictures of the fun times i have been having lately. i am truly thankful for it all.

chicks with stick golf league.
let's just say that i didn't have the best game, but the company and weather was wonderful.

time with great girlfriends
time with my husband!
time around a campfire with friends
time with my best buddy joey, from Abbostford

time with my sister and her husband.
some other things that i have enjoyed lately that i did not get pictures of:

- time with my mother in law at the farmers market picking out some plants for the backyard
- the ulitmate firsbee game on tuesday evening.
- dinner with my family at Rea Dawn Arabians (mom and dad's place)

also thank you to Juanita for taking the pictures and sending them my way.
