Go Riders Go

we ended our holiday streak by attending the Rider game in Regina on Saturday night. what a great game. it was a blast as we sat in the stands on a hot summer night.
they got that victory over the Calgary Stamps so it was even better !
there was 8 of us who drove down from Saskatoon and we met up with Denny, Crystal, Larry, Dallas, Lisa and their little girl.
i think is was officially her first football game .

Friday morning's wedding was an outdoor wedding blessed with the rain from above.
both the bride and groom have been friends of ours for some time.
it was a privilege for us to capture their moments as it happened.
you could tell the main focus of that day was each other. they are so in love. i just know they will have a great life together. at this wedding we heard much advice that is good to be reminded of.
marriage is not giving 50 / 50, but it is giving 100 % all the time. makes for a happy marriage.

Moyie Lake 2006

we left Moyie lake early Thursday morning with many amazing memories of our week with the Johnson family.
what a fun time.
Kipp, Todd, Juanita and i drove out to B.C. to spend some time with a family that we have know since the diapers stage.
us girls ( the 5 of us) over the years have remained close and so time together is always a treat.

it was a very hot holiday and we were glad that a lake was only a stone throw away.

i looked over the list of things that i anticipated to do before i left. i did it all except i didn?t find any bubble gum ice cream, Katrina made both blueberry and peach pie instead. much better..... !

Out of the Office

well the time has come.. today i am officially starting a weeks holidays.
i am temporarily out of the office.
i will be returning to work on July 31st, with many stories and tales from my time off.
please feel free to still email and call, i will get back to you then.

guess what I am looking forward to most of all?

Counting down the days

yesterday was an early morning engagement shoot for a couple that is getting married in 8 days.
this wedding will be in Aylesbury Saskatchewan.
we both are looking forward to this wedding as it will be a very unique farm wedding!
the engagement shoot was a blast. It?s all about the prairies down there.

Inspired and wired

congrats to Steph and Reagan, newly engaged and next year to be newly weds.
this couple is perhaps the cutest couple in town.
Steph and Reagan have been engaged now for just a short time and wanted some fun pictures down at the river for memories sake. Monday night was just the night as the sun settled in nicely to create a warm feeling.
we spend about 2 1/2 hours together and really the only thing that ended it all was the fact that we were loosing light. (we could have gone all night)

Reagan just started out in the Real Estate business. His father is a successful realtor in the city and he too is headed in that direction.

Steph and Reagan, you two have a stunning future ahead!
true love is an amazing thing. remember in busy times to be sure to still make time for each other.

Juanita and i are both so excited to be working with you next year come wedding time.

on Saturday, juanita and i photographed the vows of an adorable couple, Brian and Carla.
i had been looking forward to seeing what their day would be filled with ever since we did their engagement photos back in May.
Brian and Carla have such a deep love and respect for each other and it is evident.
the day?s events was not so much on things but about feelings. the love, excitement, the happiness, family and friends.

thank you to the wedding party for the fun we had together.
Brian and Carla are off the Hawaii for the honeymoon now.
