Things are heat'n up....

the last few days i have been working on some 'promo' things for Dream Photography. as things start to pick up around here.... i know, just by experience that things will continue to get busier. that is a great thing. i love that. however... you need to always stay ahead of the deadlines you have. be professional and meet them. no one likes someone or something that is late. at least that the way i was brought up :)

Dream Photography has the privilege of working with some charities in the near future. one of them is the Greek Gourmet Feast. A charity event hosted by the RUHF to raise money for where the hospital may need new or upgraded equipment, or on going education for better health care. this event will be help at Mano's restaurant in Saskatoon, it will be a great food and successful event. Good luck and thank you for allowing us play a part. We are always truly thankful to help.

also thank you to all those who have made out promo sheets so great to look at!

another thing...

a quick congrats to the newly engaged couple. Aaron and Amanda. Aaron proposed on saturday night here in Saskatoon. I was able to capture their family moments this summer when their daughter was born. Aaron has been a great friend of my husband kipp for many years. it's been great getting to know him as well as Amanda

here is a picture of the two of them and their family:

congrats you two. you made a wonderful couple. kipp and i are both excited for you.

A little package to arrive soon....

well, opportunities seem to keep coming our way and for that we are thankful.
yesterday juan and i did our first 'belly photo shoot'.
Candace is due any day now and does she have a large tummy. wow!
it quite a reminder of the miracle of life when you see a tummy that size. that's a little life in there that is about to meet the big big world.
good luck Candace.... we look forward to the 'little bundles' pictures once the wee-one is born.
here are my some of my favorites from the photo shoot.
thank you for being so wonderful.

Young Love

a while back, in December, my sister and i did an engagement photo shoot of amy and kyle. they are both living in Vancouver, however amy is from here and this is where their wedding will be this summer. she had emailed and it was a nice email.

i just wanted to reply to that email. thank you amy (and kyle) for giving us the chance to capture you two.

your love is contagious. junaita and i are looking forward to your wedding here in beautiful sunny saskatoon. your day will be stunning and your marriage will be blessed. stay young!!

thank you also for the kind words. it's always so encouraging to hear our customers' remarks and to hear that they are happy with our work.

here are a few pics from their engagement photo shoot. enjoy ~!!

I've been gone to long.

this morning i had the privilege of playing tennis back in the lakewood indoor tennis center, that once was my employer. actually my job for 10 years. it's pretty neat being able to go back to all the familiar faces and see them still playing tennis and improving greatly. this morning i played with my mother and two other ladies. orla and mary. both these ladies are over the age of 70. they were kick'in our butts. i tell ya. i was so pumped to see how they play, their flexibility and constancy. i was very impressed. keep up the great work ladies.
it also was a wake up call for me. i need to get back out there. playing tennis had become a thing of the past to me and that's got to change.

had a blast with my mom too. she's pretty steller out there also!

hope to play while we are in Scottsdale and that is coming up soon.

have a happy day
.i must get some work done.

a sak.

i am going to post a picture of today and also of the great guy named leo, who bought the tennis club from our family a year ago.

Ashley and Ryan

this weekend juanita and i did an engagement photo shoot. we had been very much anticipating this shoot and it was grand !!! this couple having both a bit of farm background in them...they were all about the cowboy hats! it's not very often you get a chance to shoot a hat like that in this city, so it was wonderful !

Ashley is one of the most positive people i have ever met. she was a breath of fresh air. Ryan, was quieter and maybe not as pumped as she was about the photo shoot, but we understand that.
it's a girl thing to get revved up for photos. right ladies ..... ? ! ?

it was very interesting..... at one of our 'little stops' we made for a unique photo, i casually said hello to a gentleman close by who was shoveling the snow from his walk. as it happens, he remembered me and my face . he is a goldsmith.and when kipp and i got married we went to him to custom make our wedding bands. if that is just not what Ashley was looking for. she was having trouble finding someone who could make a wedding ring to shape her beautiful diamond that ryan gave her. they chatted a bit and he past on a business card.
i think it was fate.

i just might have to make a business slogan out of it.... ;)

i would just like to say thank you to this couple. thank you for being so uplifting. thank you for being so fun. you two have a great bond and you wedding day will be just great. better yet - you have the rest of your lives together. the journey ahead. make the best of it. you only get one shot.
love is like life....
what you sow... you will reap .
congrats and best wishes..
