Our neighbor kids have grown up!

what a great idea and experience for Juanita and i yesterday,
chill'in and snapping pictures of these 3 brought back tons of memories!

we grew up as the older neighbor girls to these 3.
crazy to think we used to baby-sit them and they?re all pretty much towering over us now.
they have all grown up, and are very comical individuals!!!

thank you Erin, Mike and Kelsey, for being you, for being natural, and for the opportunity to capture you all when you?re young, beautiful and still all in the same house?..

you?ll always cherish these days with each other??..trust us ;)

Shawn and Erin

love is easy for this couple. wow!

yesterday was like a storybook unfolding photographing these two. they were natural and you could just tell they have built their relationship on a strong foundation.

we traveled to a few different places last night and no matter where we went, they were striking up posses, but really, they were just being themselves.

a lot of kissing going on!!! ;)

Shawn and Erin made our job super easy, all we had to do was click and capture. click. click? click - 400 photos later - they all turn out great!

we look forward to working with this couple again on their special day next May?.

here are some of my favs.

barrel of love?

the sun finally poked out right at the end of the e-session

Book Launch

yesterday i popped in to the Saskatoon Club to quickly grab some pictures for Patricia Katz. at 3:30 the celebration and visiting started. she was launching a new book that she has written called.

Press pause?. Press on.

this book delivers strategies for restoring a rhythm of renewal to work and life. no more crash and burn. no more blur and endure. 64 ways to find perspective, productivity and peace of mind.

this book did not only have an amazing artist, but an amazing illustrator, a young entrepreneur just starting out. he happens to be a past client. Juanita and i captured his big day back in July of this year. Brian Kachur. there will be more to come on this great fella on the blog soon.

last night as i snuggled into bed, i read a few pages?.. and then a few more?.. and well then, i was calmed and ready for sleep. this book so far spoke lots to me and i look forward to reading a bit every night.

thank you both Pat and Brian for the great experience. you both are wonderful people and will continue to success with what you put your heart too.

i will leave you with a quote from the book that i read last night.

a new 'behind the camera' page

today about 3 pm i called juanita and asked her if she was up for some self portraits to update out "behind the camera page" i needed a break from the office and away from the computer.

"sure" she said.... 'i will be right over'

within 15 minuets - there she was.

us sister headed down the river where the leave are stunning beautiful in all fall colors. endless leaves.
there we were. laughing, geeking out and trying to ace a shot that each would be happy with.
it's moment like such that make me so thankful to be working with a sister.

here is what we came up with.
the article is coming soon. we have a very gifted person writing and article about us and how we view photography and our business.

Lunch with Tammy Boehmer

well this was a treat - like a chocolate sundae with a cherry on top.

today Juanita and i had lunch with another amazing photographer here in the city.
Tammy Boehmer

we have admired her work thru the years and now we can say that we share the same passions.
so many times today thru out our conversations i felt like i was staring into a mirror.
we?ve all got lots in common.

tammy, juan and i talked lots about getting a great little network of young photographers together.
we?ll have to see what turns up of all this chit chat...;)

here is the 3 of us after filling our faces with Santa fe chicken salad and Thai wings at Earls.

thank you Tammy, you have inspired us with your kindness.

c ya around.

Once upon a time....

well where do i start.

i am still flying high from the photo shoot we had this evening.
i just wanted to take the feeling that this family left me with and store it in a jar for a rainy dark day.

it was inspirational being around such great parents and soul mates. it really brings me back to recall that this is what life is all about. relationships.

Hadely, their daughter is 4 years old. she brought along her pet dog named Lucy, Lucy was pretty much in every picture and if not, she was taking a potty break. ;)

then there was Tate, what a cutie. still a bit curious as to what sound the cameras were making, but that was great ? it kept him looking our way.

what a great night.

thank you Paula and Kelly, thank you from traveling all that way to let us capture you adorable family. I know you are going to have a hard time pick'n out the pictures; there was not one bad one. you are a beautiful family.

keep in touch please....
