The little Cowgirl

lately i feel as if my ability to express what i truly feel when working with each client has maybe been very brief.
one of the many gifts of this job is the people. each individual. each client big or small. they all have something that is unique and beautiful. something you could take and better your life from their example.

yesterday Juanita and i had the privilege of spending some time with a little cowgirl while we took her pictures. Taylor was so full of zeal and life. she was just in la la land and i was very impressed with her creativity. she was coming up with so many idea of how and where we could take her picture,
it was great.

between pictures she was telling us about her first day of school. how she hadn't slept much the night before because she was so so excited. excited to see all of her friends and meet her new teacher.

hearing her passion about those days took me back to when i was her age. remember when?.
i just wanted to tell her. keep that passion Taylor and keep up your love for life and what each day will bring you.

i think we can learn a lot from youth. their stress level is less and their excitement level is higher. just for the simple everyday things.

i had a hard time choosing what pictures to post, so here is a few and a few more.

thank you Taylor for inspiring me. in your own carefree cowgirl way.
Juanita and i both had a blast with you.

the basic of a little cowgirl...... boots, a hat .... and from time to time... bare feet in the grass..

some classic black and whites

Cosmo

i just finished a photo shoot with one of the 2 adorable soderstorm girls. i am going to post those pictures soon. for the time being here are some of the family dog.....Cosmo. what a cute dog.

Tee time

Monday night juanita and i spent some more time out at the Willows golf course. it was not behind the steering wheel of a golf cart chasing after a ball nor was it behind a driver, iron or pitching wedge.
it was behind the camera.

here are some more pics of the course.
also below are two groups of ladies

one - the best dressed group from the chicks with sticks league.
all outfits purchased at the Willows golf shop.

the other group - well they deserve the friendliest award.
(one of these ladies is an old high school teacher and maybe I am still trying for brownie points. ;) )
no really they are wonderful ladies.

enjoy.

Lov'in the love

i told Tasha the first time i met her that we would love to photographer her because she had such big beautiful sparkling eyes and sure enough we had the opportunity to photograph engagement photos.

it was a pictures perfect night last night as we headed out in and around Saskatoon to some different locations. we even dealt with a very scary backalley man.
the three of us girls were glad Clayton was along. ;)

thank you so much for being troopers.

Clayton and Tasha are flying off in December to Costa Rica to exchange wedding vows in the present of family and friends. what fun!

we were very thankful to have a part in their love and happiness.

Colors

last night as the golden sun was setting we photographed a very colorful girl.
she had a very pleasant and colorful personality, a colorful smile, colorful clothing and so to go along with it?. we chose some colorful backgrounds.

Natasha is a commerce student at the University of Saskatchewan.
having worked all summer very hard she is ready to get back to the books for something different.

we started out last night with her boyfriend, who was a great guy and her little dog named buddy.
once we had a few shots of the three of them and the two of them....us girls just took off together.

we had such a fun night. lots of laughs and giggles?? thank you Natasha.

What's not to love.....?

this was a man?s question to the others that he sat with at the table next to us last night as he look out the big windows to the beautiful Willows Golf Course.

i had just finished taking some pictures for the proshop staff of the beautiful golf course and as i did that Kipper test drove a new putter on the practice green.

i must say that the Willows has really grown and matured very nicely.

here are some of the pictures i took last night.
