The little guy
it was a pleasure working with both Candace and Eric. Maddox behaved just wonderful until he figured out he was to be fed and then we heard him fuss a little.
i am overwhelmed with happiness for this family. this is their first child and they seem to be really relaxed parents. that's awesome to see.
well enjoy the pics, they say it all.

Color my world
today when i was there amongst there 5 ladies i thought of this familiar art quote:
I don't like to say I have given my life to art. I prefer to say art has given me my life.
it seemed to fit them and what they were doing. each a different walk of life, a different story, yet all a desire for art.
i was very impressed with the talent these ladies had. i enjoyed the atmosphere. thank you ladies you created that.
Iris Hauser, the art teacher giving them positive advice and encouragement today, is a very well known artist. her work is amazing. check out the link. here is some of the talent i captured.
i love the color in this one. it feels so warm and inviting
this is one of Iris's pieces hung in Anne's home.
This is one of Anne Nordstrom's. this is a painting of her grandmother.
i just was drawn to this cloth. the texture and colors all mixed together.

Time with Stuart Kasdorf
Stuart is a very talented and well known photographer here in saskatchewan as well as alberta country.
for me this kind of thing is exciting !!!!
i can learn from someone like this, who has years of experience behind him. what i liked about Stuart is he was honest and open enough to share some of the do's and don'ts about the industry here in saskatchewan.
i was all ears.
right now, he is working on a canvas print for our home. Kipp and i finally picked one photo from our wedding pictures to have printed.
i can't wait to see the finished product.
here's the one we picked.
check out his website and incredible work.
here is a pic of him and i.
i sure hope to see some more of this guy in the future.

Only the soul that loves is happy....
yes,
that is the way i intend it to be.
i have learned in life, that when you become open with others, they will in turn, be open with you.
i wanted to give potential clients sense of who i am and what i am all about. i strongly believe that any success in any business stems from the happiness you have at home. with a spouse, with a family or friends. so why not share that ?
today i share with you a great personal memory of mine.....
a year ago it was the night before one of the biggest and happiest days of my life. i was on the island of Kauai with the people that i love most. i was awaking the next morning to find the day would present me with the privilege to say 'i do' forever to Mr. Kipp Cameron Sakundiak.
saying good bye to a mother and father that gave me the best up bringing i could have ever wished for , well that was hard. but i realized sooner that later - i was not loosing them, but i was welcoming this great man into my life and family. i too was gaining a whole other family as well. marriage has taught me that you gain, you don't loose anything.
our wedding day was perfect, flawless. i close my eyes and remember it just like it was yesterday. the scent of tropical flowers, the sun setting on the horizon, our families all gathered around a simple plot of grass over looking the ocean, the sound of the waves in the distance...... and then i see him. he looked so handsome. his smile was kind and his eyes were too. he didn't have to say anything. those dark brown eyes said it all.
our wedding vows were very personal and very touching. those words were for no one but us.
i remember giggling. i was so happy.
i couldn't wait for the rest of my life to begin.
and then it did......
looking back over the year that went by i have been so blessed with great memories of marriage.
i look onward to so many more.
today i feel the same as i did back then...... i still can't wait for the rest of my life.
as my father told us on our wedding day.... the basics in marriage is like what you learned in kindergarten..... you need to always remember to share.
sharing has taken a whole new meaning and it's all been a joy. even when we share a latte and he golps it down ;)
thank you Kipp for the wonderful year. thank you for your friendship, your support and most of all your love.
a happy marriage is....... a long conversation...... which is always too short.
here are some of my favorite memories of our day:
last few minets hanging out with my sister
Kipp's wedding ring was melted from his father's wedding ring that his mother kept once kipp's father passed away. that ring has very special meaning
Kipp's sister Tammy, his younger bigger brother Owen (our best man) and Jason his older brother
if you know my father, he doesn't let this kind of thing happen to often. ;)
i love this picture of the two greatest ladies in my life.
us.
the wedding guests / our two amazing families.
thank you to Stewart Pinsky again for being such a great photographer. feel free to click on his name and check out his site.

Got laughter ?
i received a cd of prints for Sheri Geoffreys. a talented photographer (portrait artist) that we spent some time with while down in California at Mike Colon's Seminar.
Sheri was truly the life of the party as we had mentioned before.
Sheri had snapped a few pics of juan and i.
i just had to post 'em up cause this is just the way Juanita and i were the whole time.
we laughed so much and had so much fun. this pictures say it all.
as Mike said to us a few times...' you can laugh as much as you want here. laughter is good for a person.'
amen Mike. we believe that!
i am so pumped to have such a great relationship with my sister and business partner.
every shoot we do, it's together and i wouldn't trade that for anything!
thank you Sheri for the pics / memories
thank you Juanita for all the laughter / memories

Love is in the air....
i am now pumped up more than ever ! this couple was great, contagious and a lot of fun !!!
with a lot of these moments, it goes deeper than the picture. you can just feel the love between the two of them.
my favorite thing was how Tristan could make her laugh. he could just say something to her and she would light up.
Tristan and Linda have chosen a beautiful outdoor location for their ceremony this summer.
no better place than surrounded by nature.
happy wedding planning you two and thank you for the great time.
here are a few of my favs, i had a hard time selecting.

You're never too old to become younger"
we had a blast !!!
taylor (the oldest sister) educated us on tamatown and tamagotchis - the latest toy.
madison was just happy to be along for the night. we had some great games of hide and seek and well we enjoyed a kids meal too. burgers and fries.
i couldn't help but pull out the camera. what else is new. here are some pics of the two of them.\

Today, i wasn't the photographer.
just as we were finishing up in a store, we were in the long line waiting to pay.
a mother and her two kids stood behind us.
the little girl ( i'm guessing age 4) had a toy camera and she was shoot'n up a storm.
pictures of everything. her camera even had the toy flash!
i was very drawn to her and started asking her some questions. she then took a picture of me. hope i didn't break the thing.
i give that mom credit. teaching her daughter to be creative !! cheers to the parents that tackle that!
i could not help but wonder if that was the way us two sister were when we were little. was it cameras at that age? i know they go a long way back!!
what doesn't fisher price build?
