we arrived at the home of Wade and Susan?s last night with anticipation to meet them and their lil?guy Liam.
it took moments until their 11-month-old boy was comfortable with us sisters and then was reved up n' ready for the photo shoot.
he supplied us with endless smiles and flirting eyes the whole entire night.
as a result we captured some pretty special moments of just being a kid !!
thank you to mom, dad and Liam for making the pictures so much fun.
you 3 are a wonderful family !!!

Two Great Girls !
it has been a very very busy few weeks!! wow. we have been on the go with photos shoots left and right.
i still have not got around to posting alot of the photo sessions that we have done, that will come shortly.
for those who are waiting to see their pictures posted.
please be patient... they are on their way ;)
today, i wanted to thank two incredible ladies that i was able to meet with over the last couple of weeks. a person can get so taken in with work and what you need to accomplish, but i find it important to get out and meet others and hear their story. that seems to motivate me more than anything.
i enjoyed a cup of coffee with Aviva Zack about 10 days ago. she is one of two owners of Wedding Bliss Design here in the city. they are your one stop shop for any wedding needs.
Aviva and i had a lot to share because we had so much common. we had started our business right around the same time. it was so encouraging to hear someone talk about growth like she did.
one of the things that stood out to me about Aviva, was her attention to detail and organization.
great meeting with you Aviva. you have a bright future ahead.
here are some of the things they offer for weddings:
wedding planning package . budgeting . vendor bookings . design concepts . take home favors . wedding party scheduling . rehearsal dinner . day of support . out of town packages .
her contact number is: (306) 280.7797
...................................................................................................................................................................
last week on Thursday, i had lunch with Carrie Catherine. Carrie is a very talented musician. i had briefly met her at the rouge gallery grand opening.
But lunch was a treat as it was a 1 on 1 with her.
i have to admit, the hour flew by and as she realized that her parking meter was empty, we split. i was so inspired just being in her presence. what a great girl.
you all have an opportunity to spend some time with her... july 1st. check it out.
thank you Carrie. i am so fired up about the direction you are going and it's so nice to have heard a little more in depth of who you are and what you are about. good luck with all.

The Edwards family
a few days ago we arrived at the home of Marty and Cathy Edwards to do a newborn photo shoot at 9:30 in the morning.
to stop and think about it right now, i get goose bumps. to me it was more than just an photo shoot. it gave me an incredible insight to a wonderful family, a mom and dad that love their life with each other and their kids.
when Juanita and i started up this little business, one of our brightest goals was to capture people's real moments and to leave clients feeling great about themselves.... well this family did that for me. i left feeling completely refreshed and uplifted.
it was suppose to be just a baby photo shoot for Noah, the latest addition to the family, but we couldn't pass up the moments of capturing the whole family and it's beauty.
i feel thankful that in the last little while i have come to know Marty thru a networking group, and was finally able to meet the family who stands behind him. Marty is a successful sales consultant here in the city
thank you Marty, thank you Cathy.. also thank you to Sam and Noah for being such great models!!

Sisters photograph sisters
Saturday morning's photo shoot was a special treat !!!
Juanita and i had the opportunity to capture the moments of three beautiful girls.
these three beautiful sisters, happened to be our very close friends while we were in high school.
Reagan and i have remained close friends over the years, even when miles and miles have separated us and i am so thankful for that.
these three sister were back in town to celebrate the coming marriage of Jess, the youngest sister. Jessica is getting married this summer to Nick Schultz. Nick plays for the Minnesota Wild hockey team.
all three sisters during their summers hang out together in Calgary, Alberta, where Lindsay and her husband Jeremy live year round with their daughter, Madison.
Reagan and her husband Cory Sarich live in Tamp Bay because Cory plays hockey for the Tampa Bay Lighting hockey team. they have a beautiful little girl named Jada.
it was raining a bit on Saturday and so we made the stop to purchase a few umbrellas and headed out cause the weather was not going to stop us.
thank you girls for the smiles and good times. it felt great to be back together the five of us once again.
good luck to all of ya and remember us here in Saskatoon.

Happy Father's Day
the day has come and gone and i just got this posted in time.
this is for the greatest father out there... my dad.
dad, thank you for all that you are to me, my sister and mom. you are such a gentleman and having you in my life has given me a role model to look to in so many ways.
to biggest and best way is your love and your laughter. it goes so well together. we always have good time with you around.
they often say, the best thing you can do for your kids is to love their mother.
thank you for this. i treasure parents that have a unbreakable friendship.
if i will be granted the gift of a child someday, i hope i am half the parents that you and mom have been to us girls and then i will know success.
love you and mom!

Arabian Nights
a night of four legged animals, family and friends.
once a year my parents host a first class event to showcase their beautiful Arabian horses. it's the kind of thing that i am so thankful that they do because it helps create awareness about Arabian horses. it also allows those who are maybe interested in making a purchase see the horses in a show type atmosphere.
it was a great night.
decorated to perfection, even the water bottles had the rae-dawn logo on them!
the m.c.'s for the evening were Jessica Robinson , an amazing local country singer and Tex Kam , one of Canada's best Arabian horse photographers. they did a great job.
jessica sang to us from her new album. be sure to check out her webpage !!
well mom, dad and the amazing staff you have working out there......
thank you once again for a grand evening.
thank you for all that you do and all that hard work.
It's great to see you doing what you love.
