Mike and Lori - Moose Jaw

this wedding was a little different from the rest of our weddings thru out the season for a few different reasons.

last summer after photographing our first three weddings for friends and family, (a portfolio base) we made the leap in faith,

Lori was the first bride to call us to book a wedding date ? of course we signed her up and we were pumped to see the ball start to roll. it seemed once one bride called, another called and things were booking up.

we have had an amazing year filled with many clients, their happiness, love and joy,
i have loved every part of it but in my mind and heart, i always will remember that first call.

that is where we started and this was our beginning.

now another reason why it was different is we had not met Lori or Mike until the day of, something that we do not practice or like to practice. circumstances led it to be this way and so it was.

driving down to Moose Jaw on Saturday morning early, us girls had two hours to talk about it.

i wonder what she will be like? i wonder if they will be camera shy? i wonder if they like having their pictures taken?

a person kind of takes for granted knowing your brides and grooms prior to the day, it a major advantage, however 5 minuets around these 2 and i had felt like once again, i was surrounded by people who i had known all my life. it must have been the love between the bride and groom; it was so warm and gentle.

the church and ceremony was beautiful and time with the family and wedding part following the ceremony was a treat. Everyone was in a great mood

Lori and Mike, thank you - thank you for sharing your day, thank you for the love you two have for each other - remember this is once in a lifetime so always cherish it.

enjoy the pics and click here for the slideshow.

after driving around this amaing little town, juanita and i fell in love with this blue wall !!!

Good Year Tires ? ;)

Excellent work, I really enjoyed what the two of you have done to captivate the day. When I met you that day dressing Lori and you left to scout the area I knew that Lori and Mike had picked a good choice. You are very artistic and have a good eye for something out of the ordinary. I can not wait to see the rest that you had taken that day. Amanda and Juanita, you have a personality that makes everyone comfortable to be around you and have fun with the camera. I would highly recommend you!!!

I'm sad that I didn't make it to the wedding, but you have captured the moments well! These images have such dynamic composition and vivid colors. Keep up the good work...and who knows, if I meet the right Saskatchewan girl I might be hiring you real soon!
