i remember this like it was yesterday, but it did occur back in march.

Juanita, Mom and i were sitting on a west jet plane coming home from our week with Mike Colon and other amazing photographers in Newport Beach .

as we were on the plane just getting ready for take off, i notice this pretty girl deep into a book of wedding planning.
i whispered to Juanita "hey i think she is planning a wedding. i wonder if she has a photographer yet for her big day??"

so just like my father, i start up a conversation with a perfect stranger to learn a little more about her?

once i had learned a little more detail about her and this romantic wedding that she was planning ? i reached into my pocket and gave her a business card.

"if you need a photographer for the wedding and engagement photos - we would be honored."

we parted ways.

i had this great feeling about her and i just knew someday we would meet again.

Toby soon was in touch with us and we now have the privilege of capturing their day next summer.

last night as we awaited for them to arrive at the place we had set out to meet for the e-session. Juanita and i wondered if we would remember what she looked like , after all we had met her quickly about 7 months ago.

sure enough - there she was .....the girl with a big smile hanging onto the hand of a tall dark and handsome man.

they tried telling us last night that they weren?t too photogenic? we just didn?t agree, we seen them thru the lens and it was wonderful?.
