The Degelman Family

This family is a family that we have seen for 2 years in a row at the same time of year. we are so thankful for this. last year, we photographer them in their own beautiful backyard. this year we switched things up a little and went to some other locations.

time with this family was great. Monique speaks french to her kids and of course both Juanita and i were dying to get the courage up to enter in.
the french we did know had faded fast since high school days way long ago.

i am very glad over the years for knowing this family. wonderful parents and the kids are just so cute. Todd is always up for a laugh and well; i remember when Monique would come play tennis at the tennis dome. she would often show me a thing or two out there on the tennis court.

this first pictures is proof that there are artist everywhere in this world, big and small.

Little Lena

this morning little Lena and her mother visited our house for a mini photo shoot.
Lena was full of smiles and wonder.
i not only marveled at this little angel, but her mother too. they make a great team.
i can just tell Lena is part of a magnificent family.

we photographed this wonderful couple this afternoon. it was a breezy day, but that was okay, love filled the air, swirled all around us and it warmed my heart.

where would i be without a companion who tells me to pack my bags, that we are headed out of town for the weekend? for a little break from the rat race.

a great break it was. relaxing, peaceful and complete.
thank you to my husband for knowing just what i needed with out having to say so.





also less i forget ? my father. Papa bear.
Dad celebrated a birthday on the weekend, we were glad to be able to spend a bit of time with him. happy birthday to the world?s best father. you are too cute, too kind and too much fun to be with. keep smiling cause it makes my heart smile.

thru life, there are ups and downs. it is truly a gift to share it all with parents that love us.

Our neighbor kids have grown up!

what a great idea and experience for Juanita and i yesterday,
chill'in and snapping pictures of these 3 brought back tons of memories!

we grew up as the older neighbor girls to these 3.
crazy to think we used to baby-sit them and they?re all pretty much towering over us now.
they have all grown up, and are very comical individuals!!!

thank you Erin, Mike and Kelsey, for being you, for being natural, and for the opportunity to capture you all when you?re young, beautiful and still all in the same house?..
